Today's main activity was traveling to Mandeville, La., where we will camp for the next three nights while we tour New Orleans. We left our campsite on St. George around 8:30 AM, and our first stop was in Port St. Joe for a return visit to the Sand Dollar Cafe for breakfast.
The proud owner and most gracious host. Check out their Facebook page.
Denver omlet, homemade sausage, and home fried potatoes.
Feeling very stuffed and satisfied we made one last stop in Port St. Joe at the Piggly Wiggly. We need fresh mint for our Derby Day celebration tomorrow.
Our 400 mile drive to Mandeville was relatively easy as we passed briefly through coastal Alabama and Mississippi. Obviously we didn't come close to the 330 rule as we pulled into our campsite around 5:00 PM.
One of the many gnarly trees in the park.

Enjoy a hurricane
