Welcome to our 2023 spring trip.

 It’s spring, and after a dreary, cold, snowless winter spent recovering from two spinal fusions I am ready to hit the road!  For this trip Joni and I will be returning to a lot of our favorite places, but we will also be exploring some new ones as well in Louisiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, and West Virginia.  

Our focus will again be on friends, historic sites, state parks, and national parks. Joni gets all the credit for picking our places of interest and dining destinations.  I drive the van, take the photos,  and update this blog.  

We can’t wait to get going!
